Jack Petchey Achievement Awards

The Jack Petchey Achievement Awards are part of a foundations set up by Plaistow-born millionaire and philanthropist, Sir Jack Petchey.

The scheme is designed to reward, recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people.  Each month pupils are nominated for academic or sporting achievement, charity work, community work etc, and the student leadership team considers all the nominations and decide on the winner.

Winners receive a certificate, medal and invitation to one of the foundation's achievement awards celebrations.  They also get to nominate which department(s) should receive the £250 grant and decide how that money should be spent.
