The Gateway Academy Basketball Programme for students aged 9–16 is designed to inspire, challenge and develop young athletes through high-quality coaching and structured training. The programme focusses on skill development, game understanding, teamwork and resilience, helping players grow both on and off the court.

Students benefit from regular training, competitive fixtures, performance analysis and guidance from experienced coaches, while maintaining a strong focus on academic progress and personal wellbeing. Open to all experience levels, the programme also provides pathways into elite post-16 basketball environments, including links with leading college programmes such as Barking Abbey. More than just training, the programme is a supportive community that encourages confidence, ambition and long-term success.
