Geography Field Trip to Kew Gardens

Gateway Academy Geography students had an amazing fieldwork day at Kew Gardens! 🌳🌍
They immersed themselves in diverse ecosystems, from lush rainforests to arid deserts, gaining a deeper understanding of biodiversity and the vital importance of conservation. Armed with their booklets, students became real-life scientists, collecting data and making observations about plant adaptations and environmental challenges. They explored the iconic glasshouses, took in breathtaking views from the treetop walkway, and engaged in fascinating interactive exhibits.
This incredible trip brought classroom concepts like climate change and sustainability to life in a truly inspiring way. For many students, it was their first time experiencing the beauty and scientific significance of Kew Gardens. We were impressed by their enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day!
