We are pleased to invite you to our Year 10 Parents Evening. This important event offers a valuable opportunity for you to meet your child's teachers, discuss their progress and achievements to date and receive guidance on how they can enhance their performance in the recent assessments. It also provides a chance to gain insights into their learning, ask questions and work together with us to support their ongoing growth and success.
The Year 10 Parents’ Evening will start at 16:00 and no appointments are necessary. It is essential that at least one family member or trusted adult attends with your child so we can work together to ensure their success.
There will be a choice of one free reading text or academic resource:
⮚ Jekyll and Hyde Revision Workbook (Includes answers).
⮚ An Inspector Calls Revision Workbook (Includes answers).
⮚ AQA GCSE English Language Exam Practice Workbook (includes answers and videos).
⮚ How to Revise for GCSE – Study Skills and Planner.
⮚ Plus, many more additional resources including pre-filled pencil case, Geometry tools, flashcards, paper etc.
Please note, these resources will only be available on the night while stocks last and unfortunately, will not be offered at another time.
We will also be offering drop-in clinics, led by our Careers, Literacy, SEND teams, for those who are interested. Free hot food will be available from 15:30 to 17:00 for families attending the Year 10 Parents Evening, on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Additionally, there will be parental guidance information on various topics for you to engage with at your convenience throughout the evening. If you require an interpreter or any other access arrangements, please inform us in advance. Your child’s Progress Leader and Lead Coach will also be available to provide support during the event. Please enter through the community entrance and ample parking will be provided.
