The More Able / Undergraduate Alumni Mentoring Programme

We are delighted to be able to welcome some of our former students currently studying at University as mentors to several More Able students in year 11. Our mentors meet with students once a fortnight to discuss revision strategies and tips, time management, applications to the Sixth Forms, University life and share their own successes from their time at The Gateway Academy, as well as setting targets and goals in the build-up to GCSEs.

We believe this is a unique programme to further enhance the opportunities for our More Able students to reach their potential and emulate (or even supersede) the achievements of their academically successful mentors.
