Egg-citing delivery to the Women's Refuge...

Mrs Debbie Spriggs, C4C Manager at the Gateway Academy, started off her Egg-citing Easter tradition again by collecting just under 50 Easter eggs from generous staff, to be delivered to the local Women’s Safe Refuge.

Debbie (pictured with some of the haul) said, “I would like to thank staff once again for their fantastic generosity for this very worthwhile charity.  I am delighted that we have continued our tradition of collecting the Easter Eggs again this year. I am sure it will bring a smile to many, many children’s faces. Thank you everyone!”

Case Worker, June Anderson and Childcare Worker, Hannah Maddison, both agreed that “Without the kind generosity of the staff at the Gateway Academy our children here at the refuge would have nothing for Easter.  Thank you all so very much, we are overwhelmed.”
