Careers (Year 11)

Many past students have still not collected their GCSE/BTEC exam certificates.

As a result of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) coming into force on 25 May 2018, we will only be keeping GCSE/BTEC exam certificates for two years after students leave the Gateway Academy.

All exam certificates from 2016 and earlier will be destroyed on 1 September 2018.

If you want your certificates, and have not already collected them, come to the Gateway Academy reception between 9am-3.30pm Monday to Friday (during term time) in person. Someone else can collect them on your behalf if they bring with them a signed letter from yourself, authorising them to do so.

If you ever need your certificates (and many employers like to see them) it is very expensive for you to get replacements from the Examining Boards.

If you are in touch with any other past students, please let them know!
