Pride of Gateway
- I will take great pride in my work.
- I will complete my work in blue or black pen and respond to feedback in red pen.
- When completing written work, I will write the date, month and year on the first available line on the right hand side of my book and then underline it.
- I will ensure my work has an appropriate title or heading which I will underline with a ruler.
- I will write the keywords as a list (therefore, I will have space if I need to return to the keywords and write definitions for them during the lesson).
- I will ensure my handwriting is legible and I will rewrite my work if it is not.
- I will proof read my work for the purpose of reducing errors.
- If I make a mistake, I will neatly cross through it with a ruler.
- I will consolidate my learning at every opportunity.
- I will push myself in every lesson and have no down-time because my Gateway mantra is ‘Progress! Progress! Progress!’
